| Nowadays, Land use change or cover (LUCC) has become a hot spot in research field of geography, ecology and so on. However, at present, few researches have been carried out on the relationship between land use change and social economic development, and on the effect evaluation of land use change. This thesis chooses Yulin city, which is taken as a special district, as the research object. Based on data from a survey of land use, social and economic statistics data, and historical document data, and adopting a series of means, listing as mathematical statistics, regression analysis, entropy value method, cluster analysis, canonical correlation analysis and GIS technology, this thesis carries out a quantitative analysis on the relationship between land use change and social economic development in Yulin city, and tries to establish a comprehensive indicator evaluation system of the economy, society and ecology of land use change in Yulin city, according to its land use situation and the features and process of land use change. This evaluation system services to evaluate the integrated effect of land use change from economy, society and ecology, and according to the result of evaluation, this thesis brings out solutions and control measures to keep land use and social economy in sustained and harmonious development. This research not only has great scientific significance in practicing the theories and methodologies of man-land relationship, but also has practical and application value to regional sustainable development. Through the analysis, this thesis concludes that:1) Agricultural land dominates the land use percentage in Yulin city, while construction land and idle land account for low proportion in land use in this area.2) From 1999 to 2008, the land use in Yulin city has a rapid changing speed and a large range of variations. The agricultural land was decreased, while construction land and idle land were increased. The change rates of all sorts of land types vary from year to year and have a big difference among various districts and counties. The information entropy of land use structure in different districts and counties varies both in time and space, which manifests as a gradually structural balance in land use.3) There exists strong coupling relation between land use change and social economic development. Data processing shows that there is a definite function coupling law between changes in main land use types and certain targets for economic and social development. However, the research finds out that there is no definite functional relationship between the output of stock rising and grassland area, between fruit production and garden plot area, between grassplot area and the number of animal husbandry and the total meat production, between rural labor proportion and forest land use proportion, agricultural land use proportion, farmland proportion and grassplot proportion. Changes of land use structure and the development of three industries have preferable relativity and the relative coefficient is 0.991. The proportion of Farmland, grassland, residential area and industrial-mining land greatly influences the proportion of the second industry, and consequently influences the three-industry structure.4) By establishing a comprehensive indicator evaluation system of land use change in Yulin city and making it work, this research find out the following results:from 1999 to 2008, the economic potentiality in various districts and counties has been greatly improved; the indicator for advanced industrial structure varies greatly in space; people's living standards has been improved obviously. As to the agriculture, its sustainability, employment structure and the ability to serve the society have been promoted obviously. Eco-agricultural land index and ecological and environmental quality have also been improved but the improvement is not significant. Since the economic benefits, social benefits, ecological benefits and synthesis benefits are improved to varying degrees, it indicates that land use change in Yulin city tends to be logical and scientific, though land use situation differs in various districts and counties of Yulin city. |
