Studies On The Potato Industry Development Of Yulin City

With the adjustment of domestic and foreign agricultural industrial structure and the implementation of the strategy of potato staple food in China,potato industry has become one of the special industries of developing economy in the world,and it has the important function of other crops in safeguarding the national food security and promoting the development of rural economy.In this paper,the main potato producing areas in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as the research area,through the collection of potato production data for many years,long time series meteorological data(1961-2016)and basic geographical information data,in the use of SWOT method to the potato industry,based on comprehensive analysis of the development of Yulin,Based on the spatial analysis method of GIS,the suitable climatic zoning for the main winter potato planting areas in Yulin was analyzed,and the distribution characteristics of climatic zoning were analysed,and the suggestions for the development of Yulin potato industry were given.The main findings and conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The development opportunities and challenges of the potato industry in Yulin coexist:Yulin potato industry has obvious advantages in development,not only in its natural resource conditions,considerable economic benefits,superior location advantages and high profit of anti season sales;At the same time,the development of Yulin potato industry also faces favorable policy environment,In the region ahead of the land turnover rate,large market demand capacity,the development of space potential and other opportunities.But it is not to be overlooked that Yulin potato industry in the breeding of seed potatoes,standardized cultivation,product processing,efficient storage and transportation,brand building and other aspects still exist,facing the surrounding areas of competition,high production costs and the threat of frequent natural disasters.(2)Yulin as a whole suitable for potato planting,but the suitability of the internal difference is obvious:through the appropriate climate zoning division,Yulin City are basically suitable for potato planting,the climate is suitable for the Yulin center area to the surrounding ring-like diffusion trend,of which the winter potato climate is the most appropriate region concentrated in the middle of Yulin,It is mainly northeast of Bobai County,most of the central part of Luchuan County,southeast of Yuzhou District,and a small area of southwest of the region.Through the analysis of spatial superposition,the most suitable area of Bobai County is 1201.71km2,and the basic suitable area is mainly concentrated in the area with relatively high elevation,steep slope and low temperature,with the largest Rong County area and 1482.2km2.(3)The development of potato industry should be tightly grasping policy,innovation technology,perfect the market:Yulin should grasp the current favorable policy environment opportunity,construct seed potato breeding system,standardize management system,support planting technology innovation,build product traceability system and quality inspection system,cultivate new type of management body,improve investment guarantee in many aspects.Clear market positioning,speed up the construction of processing and transformation system,in-depth implementation of brand strategy,as soon as possible Yulin to create "Southern potato."This paper analyzes the development of potato industry and the suitable region of potato planting climate,and Yulin the characteristics and problems of its industrial development.However,due to the difficulty of data collection and the limitation of spatial interpolation precision,the paper still needs further analysis and research on the depth of the analysis of industrial development characteristics and the precision of the division of climatic Zoning.
