Modern Shaanxi Chamber Of Commerce Study

During Ming and Qing Dynasty, Shaanxi merchants formed the Shaanxi Commercial Community all over the whole country. They and merchants from Shanxi built about two hundred and seventy-four business halls, these business halls is a valuable asset of Shaanxi traditional merchants. In modern times, these business halls gradually became obsolete with the collapse of the traditional Shaanxi Merchants. And it makes the establishment of Shaanxi modern Chamber of Commerce become a historical necessity. Shaanxi Modern Chamber of Commerce is the inevitable product of the economic and social development. It breaks through the limitations of Shaanxi traditional business halls. It had an impact on Shaanxi economic development in modern times.Based on application of first-hand materials, the discussion focuses on the generation and evolution process.
