Application Of Lean Production In Job-shop Production Technology-intensive Industries

With the change of economic structure in our country, technology-intensive industry developed quickly because of its high-tech and high profit. Especially for some technology-intensive industry represented by automotive industry, the improvement is rapid directed by Lean Production. In our country, there are some Job-shop production technology-intensive industries, such as precise measurement, machine toll, large scale medical equipment and conveyance and so on. The development of these industries are limited because of their producion characteristics(long production cycle, high purchasing cost, difficulty supplier management and low efficiency). Meanwhile, the change of market demand also impacts the order fluctuation. So these industries repose their development in lean production. It was found that lean production is carried out by some mass-production technology-intensive enterprises whose orders are steady with large production quantity and large scale production. So how to carry out lean production in Job-shop production technology-intensive enterprises is also the purpose of this article.This article takes HXG-a precise measurement company as sample, it makes deep analysis in production organization, production plan, inventory management, logistics management, purchasing management and manufacturing management. Lean production is fully used in the design and implementation process. Pull production, JIT supplier management,5S, TWI, ECRS,CIP are getting along well with the production characters of Job-shop production technology-intensive industries. Also there's a data collecting and statistical analysis of LP in HXG for 15 months.Through the statistical analysis, we could see that the manufacturing of HXG improved with LP(except the influence of macro economy). Also the emphasis of lean production application is different between Job-shop production technology industry and mass-production technology-intensive industry. Lean production will fully work, if its emphasis is capitalized.
