ERP is an effective combination of advanced management ideas and information technology, a great innovation of business management theory. Being based on the concept of supply chain,ERP effectively integrates the company's logistics, information flow and cash flow, achieving the realization of Trinity. It effectively manages and make full use of enterprise's existing resources, for example, human resources, capital, materials, equipment, production technology, information and time to achieve maximum profits and improve the competitiveness of the enterprise. Successful implementation of ERP projects powerfully supports rapid development of many enterprises. As the ERP project faces a long period and a great risk of implementation, needs a large capital investment, involves in a wide range, has no effective standards at home and abroad many companies failed to achieve the desired results in the implementation of ERP projects, even suffered significant losses.Based on ERP theory, project management theory, risk management theory and using theory and empirical research method, this paper studies implementation and risk control methods of Fujian Power Company ERP project. It analyzes the various modules of ERP system and module improvements,combining with relevant data to evaluate the effectiveness of its implementation. This paper considers that since the company's ERP system enhances the enterprise's management level and achieved good economic results, which demonstrated effective project management and scientific risk control method guarantee the successful implementation of ERP projects. Based on the above mentioned, this paper summarizes the key factors and risk control methods of the successful implementation of ERP projects and give some proposals to other business.Based on previous studies, the innovation of this paper is mainly embodied in the following:(1)From the point of management project, risk management, it studies implementation and risk control of the enterprise ERP. Therefore, it has high practical value.(2)Through theories and relevant experience in ERP project implementation of Fujian Electric Power Company, it summarizes the key factors and risk control methods of the successful implementation of ERP projects.(3)Combined with theory and practical business use, It gives systematic recommendations to the enterprise where ERP to be implemented. As the State Grid Corporation "SG186" the first pilot project unit, Fujian Power Company ERP project experience in the successful implementation of follow-up implementation of the ERP project on the power companies have great references. At the same time, its successful experience provides other some information and reference for other companies. This is also practical significance of this paper.
