Especially, the regional economic integration in Asia is accelerated, the schedule of CAFTA has been started, GMS and BCIM international economic cooperation are entering into more wide and deep field, it was a very good opportunity for Yunnan. In a large map of Asia, Yunnan lies in the center of East Asia, Southeast Asia and South Asia, extends to the two oceans of the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean to link the three huge markets of China, Southeast Asia and South Asia. Because of the advantage of location, and the construction of International gateway, Yunnan can become the bridge of three economic regions. There are also a lot of international trade contacts between Yunnan and foreign countries in these two areas, so the demand of international logistics is becoming more and more. To develop Logistics Industry of facing Southeast Asia and South Asia is an important trait and advantage of logistics industry in Yunnan, and it also supports the Strategy of International Gateway, is an important part of'gateway economy'. So, to make use of the advantage of location, rely on multi-transportation system of international gateway, to develop Logistics Industry of facing Southeast Asia and South Asia in Yunnan is very important for adjusting industrial structure, optimizing industrial distribution and developing open economy system in Yunnan province.In the paper, based on some theories and knowledge such as modern logistics theory, international trade theory, regional economy theory, industrial economy theory, the demand of logistics facing Southeast Asia and South Asia is analyzed firstly, in this part, the source, the key factor of influence, the status quo and the potential of demand all are analyzed. After that, the paper made use of "SWOT analysis method" to analyze the strategic environment which influences the development of Yunnan logistics industry facing Southeast Asia and South Asia comprehensively. Based on this foundation, it suggests some advice about the development of the logistics industry.
