China Telecom Corporate Social Responsibility Research

In recent years, some companies ignore their social responsibilities because of the blind pursuit of profit, there have been many serious violations of consumers and employees whose interests were damaged, so that people condemn on corporate social responsibility is growing. Many local governments have taken various measures to increase efforts to promote corporate social responsibility. Various types of enterprises, including state-owned enterprises, multinational corporations, small and medium sized growth companies are actively exploring China's national conditions and means and methods about company's corporate social responsibility actually. China Telecom, China's largest basic telecom operators, play a national information infrastructure and modern information services mission, in order to integrate into the global market and participate in international competition, corporate social responsibility which is the international rules must be considered, in the development at the same time, active commitment to corporate social responsibility, enterprise development and social sustainable development of win-win situation.In this paper, following the inheritance and innovation of combining theory and practice of the principle of combining surveys conducted in-depth study of topics, based on the the theory of corporate social responsibility, comparing countries in Western Europe, the United States, Japan and China CSR domestic situation, China Telecom's corporate social responsibility on the construction status of research, according to survey results, in recognition of his social responsibility in the results achieved and to explore the inadequacies of its existence and causes, according to the scientific principles and procedures, stakeholder theory, under the guidance of China's telecommunications industry in social responsibility among all stakeholders in the relationship, the Chinese telecom operators build CSR systems. The construction system is divided into five levels:the legal level, technical level, economic level, ethical levels and levels of other stakeholders, and were studied on various levels. Finally, discusses the construction of China Telecom's corporate social responsibility system of protection, including the organization system security, institution system security and human resources system security.In this paper,China telecom's corporate social responsibility system was built base on the stakeholder theory, which can be reference of China Telecom Corporate Social Responsibility work. It also provides a new research ideas and arguments to cause reflection and relevant scholars to further explore.
