From The Perspective Of International Trade Barriers, To Explore The Regional Distribution Of China's Foreign Trade Structure

With the region exploitation sprung up and the macroeconomics all over the world changed, the export firms has moved their busniess from the eatern region to Middle West. How does these changes show in the region distribution of foreign trade in China? And how the changes of foreign trade structure affect themselves as a system in this process?The question brought up encompass three requisitions. The first is the scope of this investigation is located as region, not the whole nation or some single region. The second is that as we refer to region compare so the way of investigation must not be some single and segregate indicators. As contrast, the indicators could cascade themsleves and could be compare among all the regions, all the trade mode, all kind of enterprise and all profession or industries. The third is the object of this investigation is foreign trade all the regions in China.We try to study the structure of foreign trade as a system as we will compare general trade and processiong trade among eastern region, middle region and western region, study the situation of distribution of all kinds of firms all over the nation, and connect and compare their ability to trade all over the nation.We must establish a general indicatior if we want to treat the foreign trade as a system. This asks the indicatior must come from microcosmic level, that is we'd better study from firms.Taking a wide veiw of the noval economical geography which has raised from 20 century 70s, especially Dixit-Stiglitz's monopoly competition mode got pubilished, the new study way has got huge development in discussing industry's region gathering among scale economy, production element movement and transport cost. In a word, the noval economical geography has uesd classical analysis way. And the contents it has studied are very like what we want to explorate about foreign trade. Most importantly, the kind of sudy about discussing international trade cost is very mature, and it's our necessary relicance to built indicatiors.We used border effect of newly economical geography to calculate panle date of all provinces'foreign trade betweem 2003 and 2007. On this gournd, we get the transport cost which could be used to comprare in the structure of foreign trade. Through this, we could find the relativity of transport cosr among all the regions, all the trade modes and all kinds of firms, from which we could study systematically about the region distribution of our nation's foreign trade.
