The New Generation Of Migrant Workers Find Jobs Difficult And Countermeasures

With the increasing development and depth of agricultural modernization and the unified design between the city and the countryside in our country, a plenty of rural labor force are freed from lands and seek to make a living in cities. On the base of the above, the question of rural migrant workers' employment emerges. However, with the progress of the times, the replacement of generations arises in the group of rural migrant workers. The older generation rural migrant workers gradually go back to the countryside, while the new generation rural migrant workers as a new group get on the stage of the history, and become the main forces to construct cities increasingly. They play an important role in maintaining the development and flourish of the city society and economy in our state. Now, the population of the rural migrant workers account for almost 70% of the general population. In 2009, the total number of rural migrant workers in the whole country was 229780 thousand among which included the number of the new generation rural migrant workers which is nearly 141540 thousand. It means that to solve the question of the new generation rural migrant workers employment would be a tough task. Therefore, it is significant to research the question of the new generation rural migrant workers employment in our country.When the new generation rural migrant workers come into the town for employment, they have their dreams, are full of passion, hope to find the ideal work and receive better development. However, it is showed that by the survey, when the new generation rural migrant workers leaved rural and arrived into towns, and started to look for work, most of them would find that there was a very far distance between desire and reality and it was not easy for them to find work. In other words, they were in trouble of the hard employment in the process of finding work in town.The thesis chooses the new generation rural migrant workers as research object, and makes a deep analysis to the question of the hard employment of the new generation rural migrant workers. By using the questionnaire, interviewing method and referring the related literature, this thesis will analyze the reason of the hard employment of the new generation rural migrant workers in detail from the three dimensions which includes the new generation rural migrant workers themselves, government and society, at the usage of the means of combining the method of comparative analysis, quantitative analysis and qualitative research.The first part of this paper elaborates the concept of the new generation rural migrant workers, and analyses its characteristics. The second part introduces the state of the field about the employment of the new generation rural migrant work at home and abroad. The third part reads the social significance of the employment of the new generation rural migrant work. In the forth part, first through the analysis of the employment situation survey of the new generation rural migrant work, draw the conclusion of the hard employment, and then based on the above conclusion, find out and analysis the reason of the hard employment of the new generation rural migrant work from three aspects such as the new generation rural migrant workers themselves, government and society. The causes making the hard employment of the new generation rural migrant workers are the undeserved personal positioning, the deviation of employment ideas; the unperfected system of the employment and the weak legal insurance; inadequate investment in employment trainings and the unemphatic pertinence; the discrimination of social ideas and the inequality of employment opportunities. Based on the former part which analyses the difficulties of the new generation rural migrant workers employment, the fifth part puts forward the strategies and suggestion for solving the above difficulties. Firstly, make the reasonable orientation and set up the correct idea of the employment. Secondly, improve the system of the employment and strengthen the legal safeguard. Thirdly, increase the strength of the training and promote the capability of the employment of the new generation rural migrant worker. Finally, transform the conception to the new generation rural migrant worker which is full of discrimination, and construct a favorable society atmosphere.
