| From the perspective of sociology, companies can use social capital to transmit and access to information, knowledge and other resources from the internal and external network, and then integrate and absorb to enhance the growth of enterprises. Based on the research of scholars at home and abroad, the conceptual model put forward a positive effect on social capital, absorptive capacity, thereby promoting the growth of SMEs. The questionnaires are used for collecting data, and in-depth study of the structural, relational,cognitive dimension of corporate social capital and certification known dimensional relationship between the growth of SMEs, and verify the intermediary role of absorptive capacity.When the data meet the reliability and validity of the case, structural equation model approach is used to verify hypotheses of the conceptual model.Through theoretical study and quantitativel analysis, some important conclusions are as follows:(1) The structural and relational dimension of social capital can promote the growth of SMEs indirectly by improving absorptive capacity. The cognitive dimension of social capital can promote the growth of SMEs directly, and promote the growth of SMEs indirectly by improving absorptive capacity. Therefore, SMEs should strengthen the breadth and depth of external relations, and promote the formation of internal and external business climate of confidence, using a variety of effective network of information and knowledge to promote the sharing of resources; (2) The three dimensions of social capital can directly affect absorption capacity, promote growth of SMEs by the absorption capacity and cognitive dimension can promote growth of SMEs directly. Thus it is confirmed that the absorptive capacity plays an intermediary role when social capital promote growth of SMEs; (3) The three dimensions of social capital promote the growth of SMEs in different ways. It shows that when small and medium enterprises obtain and transmit information, knowledge and other resources from the external network and internal departments, information and knowledge can transfer easily if the contact has a common language, values and goals, thereby directly promoting enterprise growth. The structural and relational dimension that provide the network structure, network link is the carriers of information, knowledge and other resources. Enterprises should adapt to the whole network, familiar with connected platform of the network, indirectly through the network of individuals to contact, through absorption capacity get information, knowledge and other resources for development, thereby indirectly promote the growth of SMEs. |
