Study On The Assessment Of The Cultivated Land Resource Security Of Longnan City

Land resource is the base of the national economy development, the security ofwhich has become an important part of the resources security. Cultivated land is theessence of land resource, and it is the most important procreative material inagriultur. As the core of the problem of"countryside , farm erandagriculture", the problem of cultivated land resource is not only the basis of theproduction relations of countryside but also vitally relates to the interests of hundredsof millions peasants. Besides, it has a direct influence on economic development andsocial stability. The security of cultivated land resource is related to food security,social security, ecological security.With full reading the history and present situation of cultivated land resource inthe region, the paper is based on conception of cultivated land resource security andgives a new meaning to cultivated land security. It adds cultivated land resource socialsecurity to the conception of cultivated land resource security and establishes appraisalindex system from quantity, quality, ecological and social security, with the method ofAHP and Delphi, it gives a synthesized appraisal of cultivated land security ofLongnan city, and summarizes the standard of cultivated land resource security in eachcounties of Longnan city, and identifies limiting factors of cultivated land resourcesecurity. Finally, the thesis proposes some suggestion to increase cultivated landresource security. The thesis includes the following six chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction. It introduces the research background, researchsignificance, as well as the main research contents, research methods and researchprogram.Chapter 2 is the review on cultivated land resource security. It mainly studies thefocal points, the assessment indicator system and the applicable situation in areastudies from the domestic and international theories of cultivated land resourcesecurity.Chapter 3 is the evaluation idea of cultivated land resource security. It introducesthe conception of land resource security, evaluation idea of cultivated land resourcesecurity, evaluation principles and evaluation method of cultivated land resourcesecurity.Chapter 4 is the analysis on cultivated land resource status of Longnan city. Itintroduces the overview of the study area, socio-economic conditions, and eco environmental conditions on cultivated land resource status.Chapter 5 is the appraisal of cultivated land resource security. Firstly theevaluation index system of cultivated land resource security is constructed from thepoint of cultivated land resource quantity security, quality security, ecological securityand social security. Secondly each type of cultivated land resource security isevaluated. Finally the synthesized appraisal result is coming with comprehensiveevaluation model, and identifies limiting factors of cultivated land resource security,and the thesis proposes some suggestion to increase cultivated land resource security.Chapter 6 is the conclusion and expectation. It summarizes the main researchfindings, innovations and inadequacies of the thesis, and then gives myrecommendations in future research.
