The resettlement of Danjiangkou Reservoir is an engineering affecting national stability and development of systems, the proper ways of proceeding the industrial development and the stability of social in the resettlement area is to ensure the smooth implementation of the Danjiangkou Reservoir. To take the task at the same time, we must find a new mode of economic growth. Ecosystem industry is a new economic form of making use of resource reasonably, protecting ecological environment, promoting sustainable development. It takes a high efficiency in the use of resources and recycling as the core, Reduction, Re-Use, Resource as principle, low consumption, low emission and high efficiency as the basic characteristic, consistent with sustainable development concepts of economic growth pattern.According to ecosystem economic and industry ecosystem theory, the paper introduces the meanings of the ecosytem industry, concludes the advantages of the ecosytem industry comparing with the traditional industry, and then introduces the present models of the ecosytem industry, points out the reason and significance of the research through the introduction of the two difficulties in the Danjiangkou Reservoir project area. By the analysis of the social economy and ecology development there,it proves the necessity to construct the ecosystem industry system in the Danjiangkou Reservoir project area.
