China - Asean Free Trade Area Regional Trade Effects And Mechanisms For Cooperation

The thesis starts with the definition of free trade area and the content and the features of"Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Co-Operation between ASEAN and the People's Republic of China"(short for"10+1 Agreement"), uses the theory of comparative advantage, the theory of customs Union and other theories of international trade to analyze the trade effects and the welfare statically and dynamically, then combines the status quo of China and ASEAN to put forward the available approaches and related cooperation mechanisms to increase intra-trade after free trade area built up between ASEAN and the People's Republic of China. The results of theory analysis and demonstration researches prove ASEAN and the People's Republic of China can build up the free trade area, its building can promotes the growth of the area's economy and improves the area's welfare, and a series of related cooperation mechanisms are necessary if we want to get the effects.
