Since the reform and opening policy, urban labor market in our country has developed every fast with the further reform of economic system. But it takes on the phenomena of distinct lamination due to the institutional and historic factors. The transference of the agricultural workers is a special fashion in China. The agricultural workers occupy the first floor of city labor market and they have to be engaged in the dirty, painstaking, hard and tired work. This thesis uses the economic analytical methods, proposes analytical frame, distinguishes the employment difference and the employment discrimination, and elaborate the economic and social effects on the agricultural workers' employment discrimination. The full text thinks the differences between peasant worker and city labor force truly exist. There are some reasonable explanations on this kind of disparity, such as the distinct human capital. Agricultural workers only obtain lower rewards because they receive limited education and training. Another reason is employment discrimination. The peasant workers who have the same labor productivity receive the different treatment because they belong to the different population community. This phenomenon is called employment discrimination in labor market. The paper considers agricultural workers' employment discrimination in city labor market is very serious and popular, and probes the performances about this problem from six aspects, such as employment opportunities, occupation distributes, wages treatment, social security, employment policies and employment services. The reasons for employment discrimination are very complicated. There are not only marketable factors but also institutional factors. Furthermore, the institutional flaw and the indefinite policy is a root which produces discrimination. The article has analyzed the origin and the movement mechanism of discrimination from institutional factors and social factors.
