Labor discrimination is a worldwide problem that is prevalent in both developed and developing countries. Since the reform and opening up, with the development of science and technology of agriculture and animal husbandry development and the improvement of labor productivity, the majority of Rural Labor liberated from the land, the surplus labor in the countryside has emerge. Many rural surplus labor force into the city to work in order to improve the standard of living, increasing household income. They play an essential role for the development of the city. However, with the corresponding is that they are still subject to unfair treatment, but also repeated discrimination in employment in the city. Economic theory suggests that discrimination undermines social justice, reduced work efficiency, reduce the total output of social services and products, so that society as a whole to deviate from the Pareto optimal state. China is now in a critical period of economic transformation, employment discrimination of migrant workers will be a huge bottleneck, so improving the discrimination against migrant workers is very important.Migrant workers has become a common phenomenon in China’s special conditions of discrimination, as a kind of labor market discrimination in China, has attracted much attention from academic field, and has carried on the thorough inquiry. But these researches pay more attention on the countermeasures to describe the phenomenon. Using economics theory to analyze the social economic effects may constitute a relatively few studies and empirical analysis. So in this paper, on the basis of previous studies on the economics combining economics uses the method of literature analysis, empirical analysis and normative analysis method, combined with other methods, to explore the discrimination of migrant workers from the macro and micro perspective. The main analysis of the employment discrimination of migrant workers and the performance of the empirical measure of wage discrimination, employment discrimination of migrant workers, social and economic effect of the micro level and macro level of migrant workers employment discrimination arising from policies to improve the employment discrimination of migrant workers, as well as suggestions to these problems.Research on the above problems the results of the analysis can get the following conclusions:first, migrant workers suffered discrimination in employment discrimination, mainly employment discrimination, discrimination, social security etc.. The wage discrimination is most directly representative. Second, through the influence of the wages of migrant workers an empirical model analysis on Influencing Factors of migrant workers wage income can be obtained not only by human capital reasons, these non human capital factors, gender, household registration, training, labor contract signing rate of peasant workers and city workers the wage gap is largely, i.e. there is wage discrimination. Third, the cause of migrant workers employment discrimination is the main reason of household registration and segmentation of the labor market, but also the existence of statistical discrimination reason. Fourth, the employment discrimination of migrant workers will have a negative impact on both sides of the issue of discrimination, not only caused the decline of the social total output will lead to social development, from the Pareto optimal state. Fifth, migrant workers and city workers employment rate from the point of view of economics is not a correlation between the employment of migrant workers into the city, will not affect the city population, employment, employment discrimination of migrant workers will further reduce the overall amount of social employment. It also shows that the employment of migrant workers the restriction system is unreasonable. Sixth, the employment discrimination against migrant workers will hinder the process of city development, affect social stability, resulting in China’s special semi city and the city poverty problem, social conflict, "shortage of migrant workers" etc.. These problems not only affect the development and progress of our industrialized society, is not conducive to building a harmonious society, but also to the life and work of migrant workers constitute a huge negative impact caused by migrant workers, it is difficult to integrate into the city society.
