With faster development of economic globalization, enterprises are facing more fierce competition in domestic and international market. The whole operational perfonnance of a corporation is not partial with planning of the strategy and setting of the goal, but is more related to specific working performance of employees. Therefore, a firm can fire employees into working emotion and innovation and explore their capabilities in order to establish a high efficient work team by means of working performance evaluation and sufficient feedback. Perfonnance appraisal (PA) should become a high efficient managerial tool for modern corporations. It is an important goal for executives to set up a scientific PA system and to find a series of practicable, efficacious and operational PA methods, which have been one part of the strategically plans of many enterprises.On the basis of related PA theories and methods, this paper introduces normal modes of performance management (PM) and makes lay out of a complete adaptable program, which is designed with entire discussion of PA system according to actualities of Shandong Shengli Stock Corporation ltd.(SSSC). By analysis of the above-mentioned program, extracts a generalized PM system, which adept to today's economic circumstance and is instructive to general companies. Moreover, it is beneficial to spread managerial motions of modern human resources.The first part introduces related theories of PA, discusses differences and relations among the concepts as Performance, PA and PM, defines systematical and efficacious PM and points out easy-appeared mistakes in PA and their countermeasures. These contents form the academic base to make a program of PM system of a given corporation.The second part analyses actualities of SSSC including investigation of it's strategically goal, human resource management and PM system, so that the newly-designed program of PA system is aimed at SSSC with collections of first -hand materials.
