Sinopec Oil Supply Chain Competitiveness Analysis

After joining into WTO, China's large-sized multi-national petroleum companies entered into China's inland market, and start to compete with china's own petrochemical company face to face. The essential point of competition under the background of economic globalization has turned competition between supply chains into the competition between enterprises. How to cope with the dynamic competitive environment and quest for resolve project will be a pressing subject to SINOPEC.Based on the analysis on supply chain competitiveness of SINOPE which is made by the method of SWOT analysis, The paper raises the author's own thinking about supply chain resolve project for SINOPE. The SWOT analysis is made up of two parts: the threaten and chance based on the outward environment analysis which is made by the tool of "five strength model" and the superiority and shortage based on the inward condition analysis which is made by the method of "VRIO".
