With economic integration and complete opening up to foreign countries of Chinese retail trade, organization environment of enterprise has changed a lot. Foreign capital retail group have carried out frontage competition with Chinese native retail enterprise in big and middle cities relied on abundant capital strength and strong management system, which has posed certain threats to native retail enterprise. So, in order to survive and develop in new circumstances, Chinese retail enterprise needs to transform correspondingly.This thesis mainly adopts methods of comparative study standard analysis and experience research to deeply analyze organization evolution of retail enterprise and organization transformation of Chinese retail enterprise. By study, the writer finds that, the organizing and managing pattern of Western retail enterprise is stepping into market in turn, and it's a process of from easy to complex from preliminary to high-level from monomer to complex, and from purely buys and sells to multi-purpose, whereas the organizing and managing pattern of Chinese retail enterprise wells up into market nearly simultaneously after retail trade's opening up in the 1990s. So, through analysis of current situation of Chinese retail enterprise, we find out that there exist many problems in Chinese retail enterprise, such as: small scale of enterprise, low centralism of market, low share of market, less-developed information technique, scarce free brand, deficient talented person, non-balanced local distribution, non-perfect policy and regulation, lag of infrastructure, etc. The existence of these problems seriously influenced developing step of Chinese retail enterprise's organization. On the base of comparing organization evolution of Western retail enterprise, the writer uses transaction expense theory and enterprise ability theory to analyze organization transformation of Chinese retail enterprise, and proposes the developing direction and transforming frame of Chinese retail enterprise's organization transformation.This thesis relying on transaction expense theory and enterprise ability theory, and combining the actual situation of Chinese retail enterprise and background of global economic integration, proposes the following main suggestions to organization transformation of Chinese retail enterprise:1 Organization transformation of Chinese retail enterprise based on transaction expense: saving transaction expense, developing middle organization style, and forming retail enterprise group company of multi-industry condition coexisting and special permitted managing system ( network economic organization ); developing strategic alliance, conforming supply chain system, and realizing strategic alliance with producers and distributors.2 Organization transformation of Chinese retail enterprise based on management cost: reducing each item of management cost: purchase cost management cost sale cost, improving enterprise's competitive force, and promoting retail enterprise to expand to level integration.3 Organization transformation of Chinese retail enterprise based on competitive advantage: adopting difference strategy, and actively developing second, three level city and rural market; enlarging technical investment, and improving information ability and information level of retail enterprise; cultivating professional persons of retail enterprise; implying free brand strategy of retail enterprise.
