The Dynamic Evolution Mechanism Of Organization Routines

Being the most basic attribute feature of organization and a principle method for realizing the objective of work,organizational routine has gained much popularity,and gradually developed as a vital field for fundamental research.Organizational routine bears the feature of stability,even greater dynamics and evolvability,which means it contains a paradoxical situation on the coexistence of both change and stabilization.To reduce this gap,researchers have to reveal the dynamic evolution mechanism of organizational routines.In the field of management science,research materials chosen on organization routines at past tend to focus on various modern enterprise organization which raised after the second world war but the researches on military organization routines are rare.Military organizations serve as an important part of organization domain as enterprise organizations,and dynamic evolution mechanism of organization routine within them are unique among others.This kind of mechanism has been going throughout the innovation and practice of Chinese military organizations represented by the Qi Force from old days,not only it contains great significance in military science and history,but also becomes meaningful for management as well.Glorious and immortal elite military organizations with outstanding achievements in the history of Chinese military are undoubtedly the military backbone for Chinese nation,in which the Qi Force represents an excellent example of elite military organizations of Chinese nation.According to classic academic works relating military science and history,the analysis is also made on the basis of combining the theory of organization routines.This research suggests that the dynamic evolution mechanism of the Qi Force's organization routine is based on the interaction between events of organizational action,which is the key factor that the Qi Force is able to equip with tough fighting will and achieve incomparable organizational effectiveness.In order to further reveal the dynamic evolution mechanism of elite military organization routine,this research tries to adopt the method combines history analysis,case analysis and simulation modeling,then to reveal the dynamic evolution mechanism of organization routines from the micro level.In this sense,the author takes organization actions as the basic element for dynamic evolution of organization routines and also locates organization routines as organization actions with a dynamic evolution system constituted by their interactions.This study employs first-order Markov matrix to construct organization routines' dynamic evolution model on the basis of organization actions with their interactions.Then we use the transition probability within organization actions to explore three factors which influence organization routines' dynamic evolution,which is the interaction between organization routines' performative aspect and ostensive aspect,organization memory and organization actions as well as the interior part of organization actions' collection in order to reveal the inner mechanism of the organization routines' continuous dynamic evolution.
