Industrial Clusters To Promote Regional Economic Development

Industrial Cluster is a distinguished feature of national economy, regional economy in each country, especially in the developed countries. In the days of economic globalization, people find the industry with competition advantage often concentrates on a certain field on market of the whole world. As a result, industrial cluster has drawn great concern from an industrial perspective and theoretical perspective. People have to get new understanding toward the industrial cluster theory in the regional economy. They also need to offer a rational industrial policy to the regional economic development.At present, facing to the announcement of"revitalize the Northeast old industrial base ", we have to reconsider how Liaoning province can seize the opportunity, develop the regional economy development. Author believe that industrial clusters can strengthen industrially competitive power of a region and promote long-run growth of the regional economy for it can gain the advantage of economics of scale and scope economy, lower transaction cost of enterprises, possess learning effect and polarization effect, benefit innovation. So, to carry out industrial clusters' development strategy is the best way to realize industrialization. Through positive study and comparing to development actuality and latent capacity of all Liaoning province's industries, author suggest the industries that Liaoning province should be prior to implement cluster development strategy are equipment industry which mainly contains ordinary machinery, electronic and telecommunication, transport equipment and special purposes equipment etc. Next author give some advice to the development of Liaoning Province's equipment industry.This thesis utilizes the combination of normative analysis and empirical analysis as well as the combination of the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to enrich and develop the way to drive the regional economic development by cluster strategy.
