This article focuses on the development strategy of Chinaust Group Corporation in the aftermath of the Chinese entry to the WTO and the unsetting up of the competition framework of Chinese plastic pipe manufacturing.Besides preface and conclusion, the thesis is divided into 5 main parts: 1st, background and basic theories; 2nd, outer environment analysis; 3rd, inner condition analysis; 4th, strategy making; 5th, strategy implementation. These analyses were based on the related knowledge of Economics of Plastic Pipe Industry, Strategic Management, Marketing and Sales and Financial Management.For the first part, the author briefly introduces the researching target — Chinaust Group Corporation and confirms study meanings and related methods, which are the preconditions for the next analyses. The second part, the outer environments of Chinaust Group Corporation including industrial environment are analyzed by building PETS model and Five Forces model, furthermore, the main rivals are also mentioned specifically, which are the indispensable parts to form matrix of outer factors evaluation and competition situation. The third part, inner statuses of Chinaust Group Corporation are researched by using inner environment situation matrix, which are the base for strategy making afterward. The fourth part, focus on strategy making of Chinaust Group Corporation after analyzed by Five forces model, at the same time, come up with General Strategy including Products Strategy, Market Strategy and Service Strategy and Development strategy including Internationalization Strategy and Innovation Strategy in terms of company's practical situation. The last part, put emphases on strategy implementation and execution, which have been discussed from eight aspects such as implementation model, control model etc.The conclusion of this article is that Chinaust Group Corporation should implement General Strategy, Internationalization Strategy and Innovation Strategy. The innovation of this study is combination of economics with practical situation of Chinese Pipe Industry.
