Agricultural Tourism In The Development Of Community Impact Studies

Nearly five years has passed since agricultural tourism was set up in Nanjing as a special form of tourism that has not only obtained its development into a significant aspect of but also produced abroad and far-reaching influence over the tourism market of the area. On the other hand, agricultural community as a social group has been attracting more attention and introduced into various fields of research and courses of study. Taking agricultural communities in Nanjing as object and thereon analyzing the influence of tourism over them, the thesis was undertaken to improve community condition of agricultural tourism in this city and contribute to the efforts on establishing a sustainable development of agricultural tourism and, on building a new socialist countryside.Based upon abundant research papers home and abroad, the thesis put forward an overall appearance of how tourism influences agricultural community. Therein was set up a model named 'influence of tourism over agricultural community' under the direction of four theoretics, namely, theory of community participating tourism development, social exchange theory, stakeholder theory and theory of tourism anthropology; also set up was another model of influence over community-based economy, social culture and environment, with residents, tour companies and agricultural community collective as main objects. These models were applied to the questionnaire investigation on Nanjing agricultural tourism. With reference to 'attitude model principle' , your humble servant has taken questionnaire investigation and conversation investigation on the three 'agricultural tourism demonstration areas' , these are, Fujiabian agricultural Area, Jiangxinzhou Area and Pukou Shuaiqi farm; doing statistics and via calculation on Excel was obtained specific influence degree of agricultural community over each influenced factor; meanwhile analyzed its causes. In conclusion, based upon these investigations and analysis and, from the aspects of community integration, economic effectiveness and environment, was offered tactics to optimize the influence between agricultural tourism and involved agricultural communities.
