So far, there is very limited research related to the human resources for employee turnover of the Lao's international enterprise industry. This paper will analyze the primary cause of employee turnover by using questionnaire survey, and draw the conclusion of causes both inter and outside firms through a careful empirical study over data collected from questionnaire survey. Mainly, outside-firm cause consists of three factors of population structure, employment structure and competition status; while inter-firm causes leading to employee turnover consists of satisfaction degree of firms, management and linkage between employees. Moreover, based on above cause analysis, a comparison study of employee drainage will be carried out between home and foreign international enterprises.Finally, based on advanced experiences of outstanding foreign enterprises, this paper proposes policy suggestions to reduce causes of employee turnover including management strategy innovation, making full use of human capital, establishing a conventional working environment, creating better team work between staffs, and setting up a reasonable salary system.
