The Structural Optimization Of China Import And Export Strategies Of The Study

Since China has implemented the policy of reform and opening up, foreign trade of China has achieved unprecedented success, together with constant optimization of the structure of import and export commodities. But the current structure of our export and import commodities based on the comparative advantage has caused such questions as intense competition of labor-intensive export products, insufficient attention to import, and emergence of conflicts between the growth of export trade and external environment, which led to over-expansion of our exports, decline in export prices and deterioration of terms of trade, which may even made china encounter crisis of "immiserizing growth". In the new development era, China must change the concept of trade development and focus on enhancement of the technological content of export products, establishment of a strategic imports position, and harmonization development of domestic demand and abroad demand. China should formulate optimization strategies of the structure of import and export commodities based on import, export and expansion of domestic demand, to make china achieve a strong trade nation and sustainable development.
