| With global economic integration deepening, import and export in the world are all affected by exchange fluctuation. This has so far become a key study that exchange fluctuation influences import and export trade. This paper is to analyze the relativity of the influence of RMB exchange on the import and export structure, and to analyze the specific influence of RMB exchange on the import and export structure.On one hand, the paper analyzes the influence of RMB exchange rate on the import and export structure from the theoretical perspective by describing the related theories concerning the relation between exchange rate and import and export. On the other hand, based on the collected data from 1991 to 2009, this paper further explores the influence of RMB exchange rate on the import and export structure in empirical and quantitative methods. In the course of analysis, the paper mainly probes into the influence of RMB exchange rate on 18 categories of goods in the view of labor-intensive, tech-intensive, capital-intensive and resource-intensive level. The results demonstrate that because of RMB's fluctuation, tech-intensive and capital-intensive goods are taking the share of labor-intensive goods. Even though the growth of resource-intensive goods is slowing down and it's share in market is shrinking, it still remains relatively advantageous compared with labor-intensive goods, tech-intensive and capital-intensive goods have started enjoying priority as far as import and export are concerned, and have taken the leading position in Chinese domestic market.Research features of the paper are that the author firstly studies and analyzes 18 categories of goods from the perspective of empirical study and quantitative analysis, and then argues for the influence of RMB exchange rate on the import and export structure both theoretically and empirically by analyzing multinational companies according to good categories and financing index... |
