Wing Company Logistics Providers. On Select Models

With the development of economics, the third-party logistics plays an irreplaceable role during an enterprises competition, but whether the function can be achieved depends on the capability and level of the third-party logistics suppliers. So it's critical for an enterprise s successful outsourcing to choose them appropriately. But now, the current evaluation index system and selection methods are very limited, so it is an urgent problem to establish a valid evaluation index system and selection model for selecting the appropriate third-party logistics suppliers.This paper studies the evaluation of logistics suppliers, including process, index, and methods. This paper, through the research of relative situation, establishes a set of new evaluation index system, and on the basis of that, uses the methods of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Entropy Coefficients to establishes a selection model which can evaluate the optional logistics suppliers synthetically, and the example used in Shanghai Novel CPT Co., Ltd. is illustrated to show the whole process. And the result indicates that the process and the method are feasible and effective.
