Mobile phone has become a daily life necessary today from the original luxury goods as the rising living standards and development of world economic. It evolved five generations in just several decades. Recent years, the smartphone industry shows even more vigorous development trend as an important part of fast consumer electronics industry.As the rapid growth of smartphone sales, the competition of mobile phone manufacturers became white-hot. Entrepreneurs put the main sources on core businesses in order to promote competitiveness and keep a favorable position in the market. At the same time, reduce logistics cost is particular important as the source of the third profit, while human and raw materials costs cannot be lower and market share is hard to expand in the sizzling competition in markets and economic globalization for years.In order to obtain and maintain high-level comprehensive strength, improve economic performance and enhance competitive, enterprises begin to outsourcing its subsidiary logistics by handling logistics operation to the professional third party logistics (3PL) enterprises to reduce costs. Most of enterprises adopt the 3PL business model in nowadays. Giver this, it is important issue to mobile phone companies that how to select the proper 3PL for its own.This paper introduces the supply-chain management of mobile phone industry and research status of 3PL by analyzing the selecting 3PL of raw materials for mobile phone in S company. Combining qualitative and quantitative research methods, the paper estimates existing 3PL evaluation models, and sets up a comprehensive evaluation model bases on analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The paper selecting the suitable 3PL company through the assessment system and AHP model of this industry and verifying the correctness during practical work.In conclusion, this paper tries to provide a reference basis for enterprises in selecting 3PL through an assessment system that bases on multiple theories such as logistics outsourcing,3PL and integrated evaluation method.
