Not only the amount of customer had grow to reach a new number but also there is a huge change in mobile telecommunication market. 3G has come into business application in Japan, Europe, Korea and Hongkong along with the gradual consummate of technology and standard, the rapid ripeness of system and terminal. 3G has developed very quickly overseas in recent years, and has great vitality and huge market potential. At the same time with the reform of telecommunications administration system and the opening up of domestic telecommunications market, 3G is under keener and keener competition. Combining the actual situation in Hunan 3G market, this paper explores the territorial 3G market and corresponding marketing strategies before 3G come into business application. Research methods as qualitative and quantitative analysis are used in the paper.First this paper will describe the development history of global 3G. Second we analyze consumer mass distribution and consumptive needs, consumer consumptive preferences of mobile telecommunication and 3G market. At last, with the actual situation of Hunan Netcom, we will analyze and research the market environment, advantages and disadvantages of Hunan Netcom, the marketing orientation of 3G product.On the basis of the above analysis, Hunan Netcom marketing strategies of 3G are established such as developing the services with different extent according to the three layers, establishing the cooperative alliance of multi-winning instead of win-or-lose one, optimizing the products structure, developing wide-band services in priority and so on. What's more, the author discuss the external and internal condition of Hunan Netcom marketing strategies implement, and discuss the step and evaluating pattern of implement.The paper aims at exploring a practical and effective road for the development of 3G in Hunan Netcom in the transitional period.
