China's Civil Aviation Industry Needs Investigations And Supply Optimization Studies

As an advanced mode of transportation in modem economic society, air transportindustry has important influence to the development of China's economy. Because ofthe orientation of liberalism in international air transport industry and thedevelopment of technology, civil aviation in China (CAIC) has been faced with theunprecedented challenge from foreign airlines and the other modes of transportation.Many theorists focus on how to improve the efficiency and enhance the competenceof CAIC.Focused on CAIC, this dissertation gets the main factors which make thepurchasing action come true by the investigation. Further more, it did the research onthe present status of CAIC and analyzes its existed problems. At the end, the thesiscomes to the conclusion of how CAIC should be.This dissertation consists of four aspects. The first part is dealing with the dataget from questionnaires. The purpose of this work is to know what factors theconsumer pay attention to when they buy products of air transport. These factors arethe basic of Market Segmentation and Market Positioning.The second part of this thesis bases on the characteristics of air transport industryand the regulation of the government, it analysis the situation of the structure andbehavior of CAIC with some theories of Industry Economy. This part is fundamentalto the conclusion.Thirdly, the thesis explains the existing problems of CAIC and overcomes thesedefects to give the suggestion to what the better supply mode is. The author thinks weshould establish the market of both the oligopoly and the competition in differentareas exist simultaneously. The purpose of this part is to optimize the market structure,market body and their behavior, and at the end to enhance the competence of thewhole industry.Finally, this dissertation focuses on the low-cost carriers which are burgeoning inCAIC. It studies the advantage and disadvantage of this supply mode. Then it takesthe Spring International airline for example to find how to implement this supplymode in China. At the end, the author concludes the deep-seated infection of low-cost carriers to CAIC.
