Supplier management is the first spot in supply chain, it is very important to do thesupplier management well. Supplier management is a most important task in purchasing, toenhance supplier management can improve the reliability and flexibility ,leadtime ,quality.And can improve the business efforts, such as :improving working efficiency, shortingproducing cycle, expediting funds cycle.The thesis aim at raw materials of foreign capital company, for the main content ofsupplier management, including development, evaluation, selection ,stimulation ,control andthe improvement of supplier management theory.At the same time, the thesis summarizedsome main abnormal questions of STB ,pointed some shortage, and gave somecorresponding suggestion according to my knowledge and working experience.In supplierevaluation,the thesis opinion is that evaluation standard need to base the risk assessmentfrom STB's customer;In purchasing price management,STB need to count the best orderingquantity according to the area price provided by suppliers;In supplier quality control,supplierneed to do process failure modes and effects analysis,CPK and measurement analysis,etc;In supplierdelivery management,STB need to look into the root cause of delivery delay and take correspondingaction;In supplier stimulation,STB need to build up win-win relationship with supplier,etc.
