With the rapid development of market economy and modern manufacturing technology, competition among enterprises has been far more than the quality, scope and cost of technology, more reflected on the response time of supply chain. Only offer the most agile response and feedback to the customer, the enterprise could win more opportunities in the fierce market competition.Company A is an electronics manufacturing company, and server is it’s core product of enterprise business. As orders rising, the delay in the delivery is serious,and the in-time delivery rate is only 85%, difficult for A to achieve the industry standard of 90%. In the fierce competition with domestic and foreign server brands in domestic market, how to ensure company A’server delivery period, increasing the rate of timely delivery, is the most urgent thing the company need to address.The status of delivery is analyzed in this paper, and finding the low in-time delivery rate is the main problem. Secondly, through order data and field research, we conclude that the main key factors causing the company’s order delay in delivery are: inaccurate sales forecasts, shortage of key parts, and the imbalance production line. Finally, taking RD640, the highest frequency of occurrence in delay delivery for example, this paper offers the solution to ensure the delivery cycle for company A. That is introducing auto regressive moving average, to establish a more accurate sales forecasting model; using safety stock model for key components of optical card to set reasonable safety stock; combining with lean manufacturing theory tact-time and ECRS to set balancing production line. This paper not only can guide company A to manage it’s order delivery, but also supply some help to improve its competitiveness in the enterprise-business market.
