Along with economical globalization and knowledge-based advancement quickening, the multinational corporations have changed the tradition that they concentrated the R&D activities in their motherland, and they begin to enlarge the foreign R&D investment. They have already established their own R&D nets all over the world, which accelerates the trend of "R&D globalization".From the middle 1990s on, the multinational corporations have also builded the R&D organizations one after another in our country to get the technology competitive advantage in the market of our country, which also gradually absorbs our country to their R&D nets in the world. With regard to the effect of multinational corporations' R&D investment in our country, it brings opportunity and even challenge. To enhance their competitive advantage in the market of our country and the whole world, it also helps us enhance our technology innovation alility and our status in the world. In the meantime, the multinational corporations also bring certain pressure and challenge to our enterprises and the scientific research institutions by means of the money, technology and management advantage. Therefore, the government should face it by the correct manner, taking the essential measure in the policy. On one hand should create the condition positively to attract multinational corporations to enlarge the R&D investment in our country. On the other hand should pay attention to "make use of favorable conditions and avoid unfavorable conditions", and enhance the R&D ability and management level of the domestic innovation organizations, reducing the negative effect which it brings as much as possible.21 century has stepped into the knowledge-base economy times, and the technology innovation becomes the key factor of the growing and flourishing of a country nation day by day. Therefore, in the process of our country's technology development, facing the multinational corporations' technology advantage, how to obtain the technology overflow from it as much as possible, and how to realize the interactive mechanism between multinational corporations' R&D investment and technology innovation of our country, thereby improving the technology innovation ability of our country, all of which have very important theoretical and practical significance undoubtedly, and will also be one of important problems facing our country for a long time.This paper takes the multinational corporations' R&D activities in our country as the object of study. On the basis of analyzing the multinational corporations' R&D globalization this research background briefly, it elaborates systematically the present situation, the restriction factors as well as the new developing tendency of the multinational corporations' R&D investment in China, then analyzes empirically the relevant nature between the multinational corporations' R&D investment and our country's technology innovation, finally, through the multinational corporations' R&D investment behavior in China, reaches the enlightenment to our country's technology innovation, and as for how to utilize the new turning point of multinational corporations' R&D investment in China to improve the technology innovation ability of our country, puts forward some measure suggestion.
