The Virtual Alliance Formation And Operation Management

Since 1990s', the traditional domestic logistics enterprises have been faced up with transformation since the third Party Logistics started growing. Confronted with the competitors from both home and abroad, domestic logistics enterprises feels it become more and more difficult to realize market opportunity with their own ability. They must integrate external resources to remedy their defect. Virtual Logistics Enterprise Alliance(VLEA) is an important means to integrate external resources. Under such circumstance, the article studies the issues relevant to Virtual Logistics Enterprise Alliance(VLEA) so as to provide third Party Logistics enterprises with some theoretical guidance.This paper summarizes the relevant literature datum in or out of our country. Then we analyze the concept and feature of Virtual Enterprise. Based on Virtual Enterprise, we give rise to the idea of Virtual Logistics Enterprise Alliance then analyze formation reasons and motivation of Virtual Logistics Enterprise Alliance.The formation of the virtual logistics enterprise alliances is discussed in detail including formation Process , formation models and necessary information platform structure and framework. This article researches partners selection under comparatively complete information and incomplete information according different conditions. From the Point of view of the coordinator, the article studies how to choose member enterprises and designs a partner-choosing model combining perfect DEA and Grey Relation(under comparatively complete information) and puts forward a partners selection model based on interval estimation (under uncompleted information) which solves the problems involving deciding the quality and quantity of the member enterprises and how to achieve partial optimization and overall excellence. This article puts forward a research framework for VLEA benefit allocation. It proves that sharing output benefit allocation mode is fit for cooperation partners, and builds a benefit allocation model under sharing output allocation mode according to game theory.The operation management in virtual logistics enterprise alliances is studied, concerning contract monitor, incentive mechanism, trust relationship, risk management, performance evaluation and so on.
