Finished Goods Inventory Management Model Based On The Collaborative Planning Forecasting And Replenishment (cpfr) Model Of Mengjie Company

Collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment is a new mode of supply chains' inventory management. It was founded in America in 90^th century, and it is now getting widely use and embedded research. In recent years, some enterprises in China (especially distribution areas) are trying to apply CPFR mode to manage stocks.This paper firstly discusses relative theories about supply chains' inventory management, gives an integrated comparison among some modes of supply chains' inventory management, and shows some details about the principles, the methods of the actualization approaches of collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment (CPFR).Then it analyzes the reason and the feasibility of Mendale's choice about choosing CPFR as our mode of finished-product st.ock management, and analyzes some actually problem, i.e. our company lacks of scientific forecast in stock management; we have little informative cooperation with sale terminal; we are out of stock frequently. The author expatiates that enterprise can apply the theory of CPFR to establish and join in the sale terminal's win-win mode; improve the method about sale forecasting and order forecasting, sct up a proper mode for collaborative forecasting and optimal good-supplemental strategy. Through this, we can reach the purpose of improving the precision of forecasting, reducing inventory and decreasing OOS (out of stock). Meanwhile, it introduces the process of applying informative administrant system to consolidate its flow. At last, this thesis gives evaluation and analysis to the effect of applying CPFR to improve inventory management and come into a proper conclusion that fits the need of management in Mendale. The result of this research provides theory foundation and practical experience for the application of CPFR, and hope to gives new method for those enterprises that will put CPFR strategy into practice.
