Development Of Information Industry Of The International Comparative Studies

In the era of knowledge economy, as the acceleration of the world multipolarization and the economic globalization, the rapid advancing of the science and technology, information technology which is represented by the microelectronics, computers, communications and networking technology has become the fastest-growing, the strongest permeability and the most widely applied key technology. The development of the information technology and information industries and the acceleration of the national economic and social informatization, has become the competition focus of the world science, technology, economic, military and even the political, become a contest of the comprehensive national strength. In recent years, the information industry development of our country has made a remarkable progress, but there are still lags far behind some other major powers in government policies, industrial structure, size and many other aspects. Through the comparative study of these countries in the national strategies, policies, measures and information technology and industrial development, to learn their successful experience not only has theoretical significance, but also has important practical significance for China's information industry.This thesis includes chapters: in the first chapter, the information industry concepts and the basic theoretical are included. They're analyzed mainly from the characteristics, the status and the role of the information industry. In the second and the third chapters, the thesis compared the development of the information industry of the major countries (including the United States, Japan, South Korea and India).First discusses the conditions and the characteristics of theirs vertically, and then gives horizontal comparative analysis mainly from the industrial policies, technological innovation, human resources and capital investment.And in the forth and fifth chapters, according to the actual conditions of our country, the problem such as the industrial structure, laws and regulations, the key technology and the risk investment system are pointed out. Learning from successful experience of major countries, some suggestions are put forward. To develop information industry in China, we should accelerate the structure reform, perfect the legal system, accelerate the innovation of key technology, increase financial investment and make the development strategy of human resource.
