An Empirical Study Of China’s Construction Industry Status In The National Economy Based On The International Comparison

In the background of the fact that current international competition is intensifying, the lingering effects of the financial crisis still exists, the domestic real estate market becomes downturn, the Chinese economy is into the "new normal" economy, so how to speed up the structural adjustment of construction, continue to play an important role in the domestic economy, improve the international competitiveness, etc., become urgently needs to solve the problem of the theory and practice.Because in recent years, domestic and foreign scholars make series research and explorationon of the role of construction industry in economic development, mainly based on the economic development of a country or a certain stage, less about contrasts between the Chinese and foreign coutries. So in order to explore the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese construction industry, this paper uses the third economic census data and combines databases from the world bank and the OECD groups, to make comparative analysis between our country and other countries, especially developed countries. Through the comparative analysis, this paper analyzes the stage of China’s construction industry development in economic development and the role in different stages, and puts in a nutshell of the problems existing in the construction industry in our country, then draws lessons from the developed countries,finally put forward development proposal based on the China’s local industry development.In this paper, on the basis of theoretical analysis, through in-depth mining and using economic census data for the third time in our country, the role of the construction in the economic and the future development trend have been studied from below aspects.The advantages and problems of our country’s construction industry. Aimed at this problem, the paper has made a panoramic description of the characteristics and problems of construction from the aspect of national and regional, including the amount and quality of the enterprise as a legal person unit, employment, output, the completion areas of the building, assets, and owner’s equity, revenue and profit from settlement of projects, etc.The inevitability and difficulty of how the construction industry in our country play a supporting role in the economy.Aimed at the problem, from the aspects of the contribution to GDP, employment absorption capacity, correlation with other departments and development flexibility, the paper has make our construction industry compared with developed countries including the United States, South Korea, in order to demonstrate the objective conditions and inevitability that the construction industry in China’s economic development play a supporting role, so it is objective that construction of our country has become a pillar industry.At the same time, if construction wants to play a supporting role, it still needs to overcome many difficulties, this paper will use the third time economic census data and combine with the construction development of the international practice to discuss the construction difficulties existing in the economic development in our country, through the construction industry for the future development space, the labor productivity level, balanced regional development, industry structure, technical sensitivity, etc.The present situation and development trend of the role played by the construction industry in our country economic. Aimed at the problem in this paper, from a cross-sectional study to find the per capita GDP and construction cubic curve relationship between GDP, urbanization rate and the construction industry there is a linear relation between gross domestic product. From the longitudinal study has found that relatively high construction industry accounts for the proportion of the national economy, the growth space is limited;Construction industry to the national economy to keep higher contribution but contribution level is relatively low;Our country construction impetus strength is lower than the average sample countries;Our country construction employment absorption capacity under construction in developed countries.By comparing Chinese and foreign combined with the current situation of China’s economic development, China’s future construction industry output value of absolute may continue to increase, but the trend of construction industry output value proportion will decline, due to the contribution level of the construction industry to the national economy of our country is relatively low, the level of contribution is relatively small, coupled with the industry’s employment absorption capacity and technical level and room to improve, if can realize construction optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and technology of construction and looking for new economic growth point, the proportion of China’s construction industry in the national economy is likely to enter the stage of "he".At the same time, this article also adopted two methods-the C-D production function and BP neural network to simulate and predict the construction industry output value in our country, the fitting effect is found to increase the independent variable and the results of the validation of the BP neural network fitting effect is more credible, after 2015 years the construction industry output value is expected to decline in the trend, and the study also found that in the current construction industry the need to improve the level of technology, and give full play to the role of human resources, make the output value of construction industry continue to grow.Finally, according to the results of the empirical analysis, this paper puts forward for some targeted policy suggestions:appropriate to reduce the threshold of the foreign construction enterprises to enter the domestic market competition; continue to optimize the industrial structure, strive to achieve structural breakthrough in the development of industry as soon as possible; improve the level of construction technology, to promote construction of industrialization; balance of coordinated regional development, and strive to maximize input-output efficiency.
