Human resource is not only a strategic resource of modern enterprises, but also the key factor affecting enterprise development and the important content of which is motivation. Motivation is the radically method to inspire ones initiative and creativity. In the age full of intense competition, each enterprise faces with both unprecedented chance and exceptional challenge. In such a case, good work in employee's motivation can give full play to the initiative and creativity of employees in each level, liberate potential abilities and motivate employees make more contribution and wealth for enterprise. It can also upgrade enterprise's core competitiveness and urge enterprise to stand out from intense competition.In the thesis, characters and current situation of tobacco industry is introduced first. The importance of tobacco industry in national economy and the new responsibilities after separation of tobacco manufacture enterprise and commerce enterprise is also introduced. From all above, the importance of motivation in tobacco commerce enterprise is drawn out. Through analysis of employee's motivation and current situation about tobacco commerce enterprise, some problems such as employee appoint, examination, salaries, welfare and vocational development etc are put forward. To settle the outstanding problems, the motivational mechanism is redesigned for tobacco commerce enterprise, it involves seven fields including completing employee appoint, examination system reinforcement, dynamic salaries distribution, individual welfare, career expanding, emotional caring and strengthen enterprise culture construction. And all of that is maneuverability.
