As the 21st century arrives and China's market economy develops rapidly, the competition among enterprises became fiercer and fiercer. One significant focus of the competition is human resource, the core resource for enterprises. Among all of the human resource, middle-class manager's importance is unassailable as hard core and backbone of enterprise. They are precious resource and motivity. Enterprises have to do their best to motivate middle-class managers,to enhance their willingness to contribute to the organization. Thus, the issue becomes greatly emphasized by each enterprise that how to correctly regard middle-class managers and motivate them on the basis of their demand characteristics.From the point of view of the human resource management field, based on a broad review of relevant literatures on motivation theories and a worker satisfaction survey of a consulting company(I company),this thesis takes analysis for the demand status of middle-class managers, then summarize representative demand characters of middle-class managers as follows: sublimation of material wants, emphasis on individual improvement, strong desire for achievement, and focus on the management of the enterprise. Finally, considering middle-class managers'demand characteristics, this thesis puts forward the motivation system that primarily emphasizes on salary motivation, achievement motivation, work motivation, culture motivation, while takes emotion motivation as a supplementary approach.The author hopes to contribute to the construction of employee motivation, especially the motivation of middle-class managers for the enterprise through the study of this thesis.
