Tourism industry has become the important support for economic development in many areas of the world. While the era of Experience Economy urges us to re-examine the tourism from the perspective of experience. Through the study on theory and the practice of tourism, we can get to the fact that what tourist products convey to the tourists is one kind of nice experience. In the Experience Economy era, tourists'consumption shows a rise in the demands for personality and emotion. More and more tourists want to participate in the process of tourist products designing and manufacturing. Faced with the new pattern of tourists, tourism enterprises should also strive for innovation and design the products from the perspective of experience.This paper does some exploration studies on tourist products designing from the perspective of experience. Experience Economy theory shows in the experience economic times, businesses will rely on providing experience in order to win in the drastic competition, especially the natural experience economy—tourism industry.This paper expatiates the relationship between traveling and experience and the opportunities and challenges of tourism industry in the experience era. On the base of making a summary of categories of tourist experience, this paper clacifies tourist experience into sensory experience, psychological experience and peak experience according to three levels of esthetic. The ultimate goal of designing tourist products from the perspective of experience is to bring the three kinds of experiences to tourists. According to the view of service theater theory, designing tourist products from the perspective of experience is to blend the tourists'involvement in the process of products manufacturing. It regard service as a "stage", the products as a "dummy", the environment as a "setting". This paper fabricates the macroscopic RMP mode and microcosmic design mode regarding the theme, plot, setting, role and performance as the main elements. In addition this paper also makes an exploration study on the measurement of the effect of designing from the perspective of experience. It advocates to adopt the IPA analysis method of tourist satisfaction measurement so as to evaluate the effect of experiencing design. It investigates through questionnaires or interviews and establishes the visitor satisfaction matrix. Then it puts forward improvement strategies according to different quadrants.
