The low voltage electric industry in China develops rapidly along with the rapid development of the Chinese economy and the electric industry. The foreign-funded enterprises in line of low voltage electric, as Schneider Electric of their representative, occupy the market of higher profit with their brand advantages and good qualities.Subei Area, the north of Jiangsu Province, is the new market for its rapid development of the electric industry. Hager Electric, as the new member of this line, is facing the fierce competition with the numerous local companies as well as with the world brands such as Schneider.The thesis makes a brief introduction of the development of low voltage electric industry, the features of the market and the challenges they are facing. The main point on the thesis is to make the marketing strategy for Hager Electric, based on the full analysis of the market of Subei Area and the challenges Hager' s facing with SWOT analysis. It makes market segmentation on the base of the analysis of Hager and advices that Hager should adapt the strategies of the sales promotion and the price. It points out that Hager should take the defensive strategy which is combined with competitive strategy and follower strategy.It also advises that Hager should make a point of the public relations and keeps good relationships with the local franchisers and the related electric companies.
