This paper which bases on a great deal of cases and statistic data analyses land conflicts and peasants'resistance which are in rural China in the transformation period of society on the peasants'visual angle in detail. This paper discusses the actuality and predicts the tendency of the conflicts. Then the paper differentiates and analyses some types of land conflicts in cowjunction with actual cases. And the paper researches Chinese peasants'awareness of rules and rights and collective action in their resistance about land rights and give some new views.The number of the lands conflicts is going up sharply in the transformation period of society and the peasants'resistance of land is the central issue of rural social problems. The number of land conflicts will rise more sharply as the process of urbanization and Agriculture Tax Reform in rural China, especially in the west and middle of China. If the laws can not protect the peasants'rights, the peasants'resistance may develop to social movements.More over, the paper differentiates five types of land conflicts. There are different subjects, interest and conflict levels among the five types of conflicts. Because of food security and regime stability, the central government will give more attention on the conflicts between peasants and superior government and the conflicts between peasants and capitalists.Then, this paper focuses on the Chinese peasants'awareness of rules and rights. It analyses the peasants'acknowledge, viewpoints and demands, discusses the peasants'attitudes to the formal rules, differentiates seven types of behavior of creative use of formal rules and demonstrate the"rule- deconstruction"mode of peasants'resistance. And it simply discusses the concept of rights in Chinese peasants'eyes.On the basis of some actual cases, the paper analyses the collective action in the theory structure of"coercion-reaction"created by Professor Yu Jianrong and construct the mode of the process of collective action as"coercion-reaction-mobilization". It points out that there are two types of behavior which are different from"free rider"behavior named"spectator behavior"and"straddle behavior". And the paper demonstrates"constrained incentive"and"expected incentive"to solve the problems of collective action.There are the conclusions in the end of the paper.
