So, it is found that some drawbacks may occur during the project management in this gas district, including engineering-project management system, interior control structure, pre-control, on-way control, post-control and information communication. This paper provides some improvements for these drawbacks, for instance, reforming the engineering-project management system, perfecting the engineering-project organization structure, standardizing the link operation in engineering-project management, constructing and completing the information channel. In addition, the paper gives a detailed a illustration for the key business operation, the key controlling point and the control measures in terms of the interior-control system during gas district's project management. For every management operation, an improved operation procedure is directly presented through a flow chart. Compensating for an empty in project management of the gas district, this improvement is very flexible and fulfills a perfect combination of project management and interior control. So far, the improvement has been tested and obtained some periodic achievements. We believe that in the future, a complete engineering-project management will be strengthened further, a standardized and programmed control system will be fulfilled in the project management. Therefore, the risks and accidents will be avoided from the beginning; and legal and reliable investment projects to the gas district should be insured.
