Evaluate The Operating Performance Of Listed Companies Based On Entropy Weight And Ahp

It is the separation of ownership from management rights that made the contractual relationship based on principal-agent theory formed. This contractual relationship determined that the operators' main responsibility is to create value for shareholders. Therefore, how to evaluate the enterprises' performance effectively becomes the focus that the external information users pay attention to.Firstly, the paper introduces theories and methods of performance evaluation at home and abroad, furthermore summarizes and analyzes present situation of performance evaluation of domestic enterprises. At the same time, given the shortage of performance evaluation method of domestic listed companies, the paper evaluates the performance of the highway and bridge listed companies based on the entropy weigh and AHP, by appraising theories of management decisions comprehensively and adopting the data of the listed companies. Secondly, taking the highway and bridge listed companies for example, the author evaluates enterprises' performance in report on method of entropy weigh. Through selecting indexes of performance evaluation, the author standardized the data and calculated entropy and entropy weigh of every index by principles of information entropy, then on the basis of standardizing data, calculated scores of indexes and arranged them according to the scores. After that considering factors which affect the enterprises' performance in future, the author amended the effect of comprehensive performance evaluation with AHP. Finally, by transforming changes of influence factors into amendments coefficient, the author amended the results of entropy weigh evaluation, and then arranged again to realize comprehensive performance evaluation of listed companies.
