Development Of Service Outsourcing Industry In Changzhou City

Thanks to the solid industrial base and sound investment environment in Changzhou, the City has made notable achievements in promoting the development of modern equipment manufacturing over the past several years. On the contrary, under the principle of scientific development, some traditional industries featured by high energy-consumption, high pollution and low added value cannot meet the requirements of sustained development. Therefore, to develop the industry of outsourcing with Changzhou's characteristics not only plays an important role in improving the quality of foreign investment and enhancing the competitive edge of exportation, but also has a far-reaching strategic influence and effective promotion in optimizing the local industrial structure, improving the investment environment and upgrading the productive elements in Changzhou.From the strategic viewpoint of developing outsourcing, this thesis, based on the in-depth analysis on the interior and exterior environments of Changzhou, compares the City with the cities of Xi'an, Dalian and Suzhou in China who are better developed in outsourcing industry. By studying the successful cases both at home and abroad, this article puts forward the opportunities and challenges faced by the outsourcing industry in Changzhou, and based on which, it raises the overall planning and strategic measures for developing such industry.The research of this thesis provides a realistic guidance to develop the outsourcing industry, expand foreign investment, restructure industries and to promote the social and economic development in Changzhou. Moreover, the conclusion of this paper can be for reference, to a certain extent, in promoting the outsourcing in other regions.
