China and Russia are the biggest developing countries, the trade between two countries developed at a rapid pace recently. However, the trade conflicts between both countries appeared to the surface. China believes that Russian government is not interested in the opening the Russian market (especially its western part) for Chinese companies; Russian quality requirement for the Chinese products are steep; on the other hand Russia believes that China is only interested in Russia's energy resources and have no interest in Russia's products (except the products of Russia's military-industrial complex). These tensions are not beneficial to neither China nor Russia.Being a foreign student from Russia, I had the honor to receive a scholarship from the People's Republic of China. Scholarship programs for Chinese and Russian students are crucial to mutual understanding between China and Russia. In order to somewhat contribute to the development of China-Russia relations, this research aims to give an objective analysis of China-Russia trade conflicts as well as suggestions on how to further promote trade relations.Through a careful overview of the recent China-Russia trade history, its present state and the current trade conflicts, this research aims to point out the damages created by these tensions. From there on, I aim to outline the main reasons for trade conflicts. This research proposes that to solve trade conflicts, the main measures to be taken by China are as follows: use China-Russia dialogue and consultations, develop bilateral trade, reinforce the managements and control of its exports , Chinese companies need to increase their investment in technology and research, build up international brands. On the other hand, Russia should take the following measure: eliminate grey custom clearance, improve the transport infrastructure in the regions near China, adapt its economy legislation to the conditions of the modern economy.
