Patent Analysis On Enterprise Development

17th Party Congress report made it clear that it is necessary to "improve the protection of the patent system", "to encourage scientific and technological innovation, to master core technologies and to have a group of independent patent in some key areas and a number of cutting-edge technologies". Obtaining the core technologies and culturing the core competitiveness by speeding up the construction of the patent system and patent capacity-building in our country has become an important strategic initiatives during china's new industrialization. According to the National Patent Office survey in 2007 showed that China's large and medium-sized enterprises, 69 percent of enterprises do not have a strategic analysis of patents, the average implementation rate of patent technology was about 40%, which was lower than that in developed countries(60%) and more lower than Japan and U.S. (70% -80%). It is key of enhance the core competitiveness to have core technology with independent patent, and enterprises in the market can maintain its competitive edge and corporate patent strategy are closely related. At present, the number of patent in the core technology has become an important criterion to measure the enterprise's strength in international competition, and the enterprise's potential for development. Patented level has become an important competitiveness indicator of modern enterprise.Now the patent application's analysis has become more and more important in domestic enterprise, and a lot of research literatures about that have been proposed. Most of the literatures remain in the study of the patents status quo, such as qualitative analysis, lacking of quantitative analysis and comparison, lacking of convincing arguments.In this paper, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods combined with the actual cases were adopted to explained the importance of the patent literatures analysis on enterprise development strategies. The following lists were the summary of results:(1) Proposed the concept of patent document analysis and a research overview at home and abroad, especially focusing on the United States, Japan and China was discussed and compared. A detailed analysis of patent document development in Shandong province and Jinan city was set up, and discussed the advantages and disadvantages in patent literature analysis.(2) One of enterprise in Jinan was adopted as actual study object, combined with the most commonly used patent analysis method, compared with this domain's in enterprise competitor, through the data, this enterprise's present situation was analyzed, the counter measures and the strategy has been given.(3)The pointed countermeasure and the counter measures for domestic enterprise's patent application as well as the patent document analysis were proposed by the patent analysis method, and the further research work was brought up.
