Evolution Of The Qing Dynasty The Longdong Regional Town Development And Markets

The study on town economic has always been the center of attention of socio-economic history research. The study in this field has already obtained plenteous academic achievements. But most of the academic research concentrated in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Basin and Pearl River, although in recent years some scholars involved in the loess plateau of northwest china but relatively middle and lower Yangtze River and Pearl River basin, was also weak. Specific to the Longdong area, which is located in the eastern part of Gansu Province, in terms of the level of economic development of backward areas of poverty in Gansu Province,it can be said to promote the development of small towns in the region is currently the most economic construction' s key tasks. In addition, the development of the town has historical heritage ,so Longdong area as a study of the town , study with a view to the current construction of small towns to provide historical reference, make historical geography useful to the society.This paper is divided into four main elements:Firstly,in this part the reason for the topic ,the significance for the study and the current research situations were given, and research contents and methods.Secondly, the main work in this part is as follows: the statistics of the town's types, the type can be divided into military town, post town, administration town, commercial town and multifunction town, but the most of them are commercial towns; then the factor analysis of the formation of town's type from historical and natural environment point of view.Thirdly ,this part mainly through the distribution of the town and historical analysis of the Longdong Area in Qing Dynasty ,to explore and found that the distribution of Longdong town has its rules, the town mainly concentrated in the rivers and prefectures at the junction of the two sides; and List of the way through the statistics from the town (state) from the county, from the town of space on the distribution of a more detailed understanding; the final list of the statistics before the late Qing Dynasty changes in the number of the town, and for Zhengning , two of the town's larger change in the number of counties with a detailed analysis of historical data; Also discussed briefly the relationship between the development of the town and the town's population.Fourthly, the statistics of the main market sites in Longdong area, the total market sites in the number of 144, State and County Market sites for the number 41, representing the total the number of 28.5%; Town sites for the number 37, accounting for 25.7% of the total; Village sites set the number for 66, accounting for 45.8% of the total. Accordingly, in Longdong area,fairs in the various components of the distribution rate on the lines of 1:1:2, the village set for the number of absolute majority, State and County Market sites and the number of sets the number of the town roughly equivalent, the region is still set for the village to the main place for economic activities, the level of development of market towns is not high on the set of the statistical analysis, the obtained data in line with the objective law, also analyzes the cause . A simple analysis of the An Hua County, State and County Fair, although not to make a conclusion of developments in the market, but it may also provide a high level of corroboration for the conclusion in the first two parts.
