Resource Curse And Economic Growth

The purpose of this article is studying the relationship between economic growth in the "curse of resource" hypothesis of theoretical framework of the resources in Yunnan Province. Compared with Yunnan abundance of mineral resources per capita in the national rankings and per capita GDP ranking the beginning of the study, there is a certain degree of negative correlation between mineral resources in Yunnan province and their economic growth by a measurement .In further study, we found "curse of resource" influence their economic development. By a transmission mechanism in Yunnan Province, Through understanding of the hypothesis and observation to the mineral resources in Yunnan Province to, we try to find the key factor which restrict the development and use it as a starting point for the study of economic growth in Yunnan Province to expand a new direction and space.Mineral resources industry in Yunnan Province is one of the five pillar industries, and the importance is known to all of us. Through understanding the "curse of resource" hypothesis theoretical of mineral resources in Yunnan Province we verify the relationship between trade and the growth of economy. Through comparing various provinces in per capita mineral resources and a wide range of estimates of GDP growth ,we found: Yunnan province, the per capita abundance of mineral resources in the country is in the 15th place, while the GDP growth rate has ranked the 29^th among 30 provinces. Such a contrast, in other words, Yunnan Province marks the "resource curse" in the same conditions, However, the reality is not the case for many other factors restricting the economic development of Yunnan. The article on economic growth in Yunnan Province and its related factors through multiple regression analysis found that economic growth in Yunnan Province, is constrained by the resources industry to some extent. Due to the simple measurement tool in the verification process, we found that the impact of factors in a very strong correlation, because of the following two possibilities: First, the measurement tool is not proper; Secondly, the dates are not enough.Compared to other studies of the economic growth paradigm in general, this article is from the mineral resources industry perspective of its impact on economic growth in the economic growth of in-depth study in the background of different industries on the economic growth of the research literature.
