Not only major manufacturers expand investment, but a large part of the new investors join this industry. In the LCD industry market, all the manufacturers will face the brutal competition. How can we obtain the success in the fierce competition? How can we be in the lead than other competitors to produce better products? Each manufacturer has to face the reality, and begin to study and research the theories of the knowledge management and management information system, which are little involved before.When the LCD industry competition is in a crucial re-engineer moment, this article author, as a developer of the LCD product, is honored to write this paper in FUDAN University .Under teachers' tender guidance, the author can use the professional knowledge to solve the problems encountered in the quality control, by analyzing and studying the management knowledge.This article introduced the LCD industry's basic concept and summaries the survey, experiences, lessons, as well as the characteristics of competition in both domestic and foreign LCD industry. It reviewed the opportunity to the knowledge management which brought by the management information system's development. It focused on the LCD industry knowledge management strategy. In addition, this paper analyzed the principles of the functional knowledge system thoroughly. The introduction of the functional knowledge system solved the knowledge management problems in the product design and quality continuous improvement. This introduction also enhanced the competitiveness of the company's products and ability to the market shift strain.
