Research Based On T Company Liquid Crystal Display New Product Introduction Project Quality Management

With the rapid development of Information Industry, Flat panel display is becoming more and more important to China economy as a new display technology. Because the development period of Flat panel display is still short in China, it still lacks of experience in new product introduction of liquid crystal display, and the majorities of new project development process are barely applied suitable quality management tools. Thus it always results in long project development cycle, poor quality and unsatisfied product to customers. All these factors leads to project investment increase and product uncompetitive. It is necessary to improve quality management in NPD process.This article analysis current situations of new product development quality management based on liquid crystal display of T company. By figuring out existing problems, it improves responsibilities of project team and phase in Quality Function Deployment, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and Design of experiments tools. By applying these quality tools in a new product development project, it realizes customer needs in the new product and predicts risks and takes prevention actions in advance. Furthermore, this article tries to dig out related factors effecting new technology and studies design and manufacture method. By all these, it avoids prolong project cycle and more investment while reducing quality risks. By this research, it provides an example for quality management of new product development of Flat panel display industry.
